Mike Maurice is a singer/songwriter & multi instrumentalist from Biddeford Maine who combines soulful, earthy instrumentation and melancholic undertones to create a sonic atmosphere. Influenced by the playing of John Mayer and the writing of Gregory Alan Isakov, Fleet Foxes & Bon Iver to name a few, his new album "Apartment Secrets" touches on love, loss and the inner dialogue that many can relate to from the isolation of the pandemic.
Featuring a group of Maine based multi-instrumentalists, the experience of seeing this band has been described by many for being “deeply relatable, heartfelt and dynamic.” Mike has built a growing community in New England playing at a wide variety of listening rooms and larger venues over the past decade including: State Theater, Port City Music Hall, PHOME, One Longfellow Square, Triad Theater in NYC, Wilbur Theater in Boston, and others. Mike recently opened for Caroline Cotter and the Wolff Sisters, who are playing in this year’s Boston Calling.

“We were aware of how talented Mike Maurice was on the keys, but nothing could prepare us for his fantastic guitar work on his new album "Apartment Secrets". Layers of electric and acoustic guitar are joined with mandolin and (of course) keys creating a nicely done soundtrack for Maurice's cool and soothing vocals. The songs themselves are the true stars of the show with the two singles, "Yesterday's Mistakes" and "Forest Fire" bookending a pack of really well done songs.”
